This 70,000 sf/ $11,000,000 core + shell, retail + supermarket project is Phase II of a JH Snyder (developer) + CRA redevelopment plan for the heart of North Hollywood, “The Valley,” LA, CA.

Ioana Urma worked on this project at The Jerde Partnership, taking it from the late design development phase through the end of construction. This included detailing, choosing materials, and finishing the construction document set; value engineering; complying with codes; facilitating permitting; coordinating/ supervising consultants in signage, landscape, lighting, structural, mechanical, electrical; working with the CRA (community redevelopment agency); coordinating the artists (2 public art projects are integrated into the building); coordinating with the general contractor. She was also in charge of creating the lease package and coordianting with the TI (tenant improvement) architects.

Ioana managed this project on her own, checking in with the designer, Tammy McKerrow, and taking technical advice from Chad Dasnanjali.
