MOBILA = Furniture (from mobile/movable). These little exercises were born out of a desire to learn to work with real materials, out of necessity, and for the satisfaction of making something useful by hand, at home.

Each piece was designed and built for a different purpose, but all share these basic concepts:

1. Carry a fun elegance.
2. Based on user function and/or, as in the twisted coffee-table, structural function.
3. Minimum cost.
4. As little as possible (none) material wasted.
5. Can be (easily) taken apart. No glue is used.
