This page might make one dizzy with information, because it contains a large sample of all the very many graphic branding projects Ioana has created for Iridescent: logos, flyers, brochures, postcards, powerpoint presentation, posters, website and phone app designs, reports, T-shirts, bookmarks, stickers, decals and badges, to name most of them.
The work goes beyond simple visuals, such as helping to coin the motto “I imagine. I invent. I engineer.”
The designs are bright, colorful, playful, and active, to support the educational goals and structure of the organization that say: SCIENCE & ENGINEERING ARE FUN!
The people featured on the banners and flyers are people from the actual courses, so as to be honest in representation and avoid being generic.
The main Iridescent logo shows a little girl throwing an airplane, with a parent behind her, to reflect on the involvement of parents in the hands-on educational approach. It is purposely written with fat, non-capitalized letters, to appear more friendly and child-related.
The Technovation logo (for one of the programs) purposely matches the Iridescent one, to ensure people do not think it is something outside the organization.
The Curiosity Machine logo is based on the goals of the website: to get kids to build using things found around the house. The colors are slightly muted so make it feel less “online.”
As can be observed, there is repetitive use of the symbolic graphic elements created for various projects - though the colors, scale and organization vary - to emphasize the identity of the organization.
